Experiment_001:
For this experiment we wanted to test whether in a dark environment (bathroom without light), we can force light to travel from one side of a tube to the other. As a light source we used a flash light. At the end of the tube used we attached a bottle filled with water, as we had hypothesized that this would help the light to diffuse. The experiment was successful: in the last photo one can see the blue color, which is the (result of the) light that has first traveled through the tube and then has been diffused in the bottle. Some observations from the experiment: There was different light strength depending the current curvature of the tube.
Items used in this experiment: black plastic non-transparent tube, twine, plastic transparent water bottle filled with water, flash light, water.
